For those who have suffered a miscarriage......
No tears are shed that God does not notice. There is no smile that is he does not mark. If we would fully believe this, all undue anxiety would be dismissed. Our lives would not be so filled with disappointment as now, for everything whether great or small, would be left in the hands of God, who is not perplexed by the multiplicity of cares,or overwhelmed by their weight. We would enjoy a rest of soul to which so many have long been strangers. Steps to Christ, pg 63
No calamity can befall the least of his children, no anxiety harass the soul, no joy cheer, no sincere prayer escape the lips, of which our heavenly father is unobservant, or in which he takes no immediate interest. He healeth the broken hearted and bindeth up their wounds. Steps to Christ. pg. 74
Two years after our first daughter was born, we found out there was going to be another little addition to the family! Maizey was going to be a big sister! We were so excited and little by little started making room for the new family member that would arrive sometime in June. Then, 12 weeks pregnant, I received the most devastating news. Our little baby's heart beat had stopped. The next day I had a miscarriage. It was the most helpless feeling...not being able to control what was happening. Tears fell for days until there were none left. Is there anything stronger than a mother's love??? Our Heavenly Father loves us more than we could ever know!!! That is why I believe when we get to heaven, angels will place babies (that have "fallen asleep") in the arms of their mother. This is the hope I hold onto.
Sadly , over the past 10 years I have been sculpting, many broken hearts have shared the same story with me. Here are some comforting words found in "Steps to Christ" .
